Board Member Criteria
Ideal Board Members Should Possess the Following Qualities
- Commitment to Our Mission:
A deep passion for inclusive sports and a dedication to empowering children with special needs. - Relevant Experience:
Demonstrated background in nonprofit management, sports administration, education, community outreach, or a related field. Experience working with special needs populations is a strong asset. - Strategic Leadership:
Proven ability to contribute to long-term planning and decision-making. Board members should have a track record of leadership and strategic thinking. - Financial Acumen:
Understanding of budgeting, financial management, fundraising, or grant management to help guide the financial sustainability of the program. - Community Engagement:
Excellent communication and networking skills to build relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and community partners. - Collaborative Spirit:
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of professionals and volunteers. - Availability & Commitment:
Willingness to attend regular board meetings, participate in committees, and actively support program initiatives.
